A regular match-three only suffices for basic time extension; try your best to make four-of-a-kind or five-of-a-kind matches: connecting 4 gems of the same color in a straight line generates a “linear special effect” that clears an entire row or column, while linking 5 gems diagonally or in a straight line creates an “area special effect” that detonates the surrounding 3x3 area. Special effects not only grant more time but also lay the groundwork for subsequent chain reactions. Time management is crucial for extending your game session. Every time the countdown drops by 10 seconds, prioritize eliminating “easy-to-match” gems to stably add time and avoid panicking into a game-over due to hasty moves.
